1) искажение; шумность, зашумлённость (например, изображения)посторонняя, бессмысленная или ошибочная информация, добавляемая к видео-или аудиосигналу в процессе записи, передачи или кодирования/декодирования. Преимущество цифровых форматов перед аналоговыми в том, что шумы могут полностью устраняться - хотя могут возникать новые шумы из-за сжатияв телекоммуникации - множество нежелательных колебаний различных частот, накладывающихся на передаваемый сигнал.
